Times recommended for Halloween trick or treating

Gloucester County officials recommend a trick or treat time of 6 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday and that these activities be limited to children age 12 and younger under adult supervision. 
The Gloucester Library on Main Street will host a Spooktacular event for children ages 2-12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday. Main Street will be closed to through traffic from 5 to 8 p.m. to accommodate trick or treating sponsored by the Gloucester Main Street Association from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
In Mathews, the Thomas Hunter Middle School Junior Beta Club will hold a trick-or-treating event at the school’s Nature Trail from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday.
