This week we lost a fine father, son, and friend, Tim Thrash. Tim was born in Germany on July 16, 1971. He passed in Chantilly, Virginia, on September 7, 2022.

Tim was so proud of his three beautiful girls and loved sharing their accomplishments on the soccer field and in the pool as well as school. He loved being a dad and his girls made him so proud and happy.

Tim was proud of his military service in the Army and graduating from Virginia Tech. He loved the school and the football program. He loved to golf and fish and loved sports in general. He had a successful career in software sales for the Oil and Gas industry and was one of the most personable people you could meet. He was an excellent public speaker and had a gift for it.

Tim leaves behind three beautiful daughters, Taylor, Samantha, and Alexa, and their mother, Chrissie; his brother, Steve, and stepbrother, Jim. Tim’s father, Col. Jerry Thrash (ret.) and stepmother, Pat Thrash, reside in Hallieford.

Friends and family gathered Saturday, September 10, 2022, to honor Tim’s life. Burial will be private.
