Tickets still available for Seafood Festival

A limited number of tickets are still available for the Abingdon Ruritan Club Seafood Festival on May 20. This popular event is an all-you-can-eat-and-drink event. Food includes oysters fried, roasted and on the half-shell, clam chowder, clam fritters and on the half-shell, scallops fried and grilled, shrimp steamed and grilled, fried fish, steamed crabs, BBQ with coleslaw, hush puppies, French fries, wine and cheese, cake and ice cream. Beverages include water, coffee, tea and soft drinks. Alcoholic beverages include beer, wine and mixed drinks. The band “The Gentlemen and their Ladies” will provide music for listening and dancing. Parking is free. Tickets are $75 each and may be purchased at Whitley’s Peanuts, Milk Panda (2268 York Crossing) and Weatherwax Insurance along Route 17, and Hogge Real Estate on Main Street in Gloucester.
