Tickets are still available for the York River Circle of The King’s Daughters and Sons’ “Book Author Luncheon,” to be held at noon on Friday, Oct. 20, at Providence Baptist Church in Gloucester.

The guest speaker is the “Dotsy Lamb Travel Mysteries” author Maria Hudgins of Hampton, and there will be door prizes.

Proceeds will benefit Children’s Hospital of The King’s Daughters in Norfolk and various Gloucester charities.
