Fresh off the release of his latest album, country recording artist Clay Walker will perform at Dominion Energy Center’s Carpenter Theatre in Richmond at 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 2.

Tickets go on sale this Friday at 10 a.m. and are available at DominionEnergyCenter.com, by phone at 800-514-ETIX, and at the venue’s main box office located at 6 North Laurel Street, Richmond. A special presale for subscribers to the Dominion Energy Center newsletter will be held from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. today.

Walker’s latest release, “Texas To Tennessee,” is a modern album that nods at an earlier era in its time economy. Clocking in under 30 minutes in its entirety and with more than half its songs under three minutes, it recalls some of country’s historical best in terms of uncluttered writing, directness of message, and finely shaved construction, a release stated.
