Tickets available for Irvington Crab Festival

Preparations are underway for the Steamboat Era Museum’s 12th annual Irvington Crab Festival, which will be held on Saturday, Sept. 16, in the Carousel Physical Therapy tent on the Irvington Town Commons, adjacent to the museum.

From 4-8 p.m., attendees will pick crabs, listen to music and support the museum. The crab festival is the museum’s largest fundraising event of the year.

The $60 early crab discounted admission includes all-you-can-eat crabs, barbecue, hot dogs and soft drinks. Crabs will be served starting at 5. All other food and beverages will be available beginning at 4. Beer and wine will be available for purchase for $5. Admission increases to $75 on Aug. 17.

A raffle for items and gift certificates, will be held at the festival. Raffle tickets will be sold at the event, and you must be present to win. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.
