Three Mathews County Public Schools programs are included in this year’s 21st annual Virginia School Boards Association Showcases for Success directory. The directory’s featured programs highlight successful projects related to innovating programs, school initiatives and partnerships, a release stated.

Mathews initiatives highlighted in the directory are co-teaching training teams, the Lunch and Learn program, and the Mathews High School nursing assistant program.

“In addition to highlighting some of the best practices taking place in Virginia’s schools, the VSBA Showcases for Success directory can serve as a starting point to develop similar programs in other school divisions,” VSBA executive director Gina G.
