Three hearings on Tuesday’s agenda

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has three public hearings on its agenda for Tuesday night. The regular meeting will begin at 7 o’clock in the colonial courthouse; public hearings will commence at 7:30.

The first public hearing will be consider an amendment to the county’s zoning ordinance to add a new Residential Mixed Use zoning district. A second public hearing will be to consider another amendment to the zoning ordinance to remove “half-stories” and the maximum number of stories permitted.

A third public hearing will be held to consider amending the county’s sign ordinance as it pertains to signage for nonresidential uses in residential districts.

Other items on Tuesday night’s agenda include a discussion on whether to submit an application to the Unified Hazard Mitigation Assistance Grant Program and a resolution to amend the rules of procedure for the board of supervisors. ...
