Three hearings on supervisors’ agenda Tuesday

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold three public hearings during its meeting Tuesday, beginning at 7:30 p.m. in the colonial courthouse. The regular meeting will begin at 7 o’clock.

The first public hearing will include the consideration of an amendment to the county’s zoning ordinance as it pertains to sand and gravel operations. A second public hearing will be to consider amending county code allowing for reimbursement of expenses incurred in responding to DUI and related incidents and methamphetamine lab cleanup costs. A third public hearing is scheduled to consider amending county code dealing with utility rates.

The board will also hold a closed meeting Tuesday night on the potential acquisition and/or disposition of real property and the siting of a prospective business or industry and the potential award of a public contract. ...
