The band Three Dog Night, now in its fifth decade, will perform at 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 21, at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach.
Tickets, priced from $55 to $79.50, go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday and can be purchased at YnotTix.com or by visiting the Sandler Center box office at 201 Market Street, Virginia Beach.

Three Dog Night achieved more top 10 hits than any other group in the years 1969 through 1974, a press release stated. The group’s now-famous name refers to native Australian hunters in the outback who huddled with their dogs for warmth on cold nights, the coldest being a “three dog night.”
