Thomas Riley Lumpkin, 74, of Hayes, died April 16, 2017.

Thomas was a Gloucester native, and had worked in the building trade. He was a NASCAR fan and an avid Yankees fan. Thomas was a quiet simple man who had a great love for all his family. He will be missed.

He is survived by his daughter, Lori Subervielle (Paul); brother, James Lumpkin; grandchildren, Robert Freiermuth, Courtney Musgrove, Richard Subervielle and Kristen Subervielle, and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral service conducted by the Rev. Arthur Wolz Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2017, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. Interment will follow in Gloucester Point Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 20 from 7-8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
