Thomas Jerome “Jerry” Williams, 71, a resident of York County, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2016.

He was a native of Gwynn’s Island, Virginia, “formerly running Callis Wharf.” Jerry retired in 2005 from Anheuser-Busch, after 30 years of service. He had a profound love of the bay, sailing and yachting. Jerry was known by his friends as a gentle giant having a big heart and for his kind and caring ways. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ira and Ruth Williams.

Jerry is survived by his husband, John W. Bennett, and his sister, Becky Williams of Yorktown.

As per Jerry’s request, all services will be private.
