THMS to hold Motor Show and Halloween Bash on Oct. 31

Thomas Hunter Middle School will hold its inaugural Motor Show and Halloween Bash from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 31, according to assistant principal Ken Noonan.

The public is invited to join the students and staff of THMS in this fundraising event, which will include a motor show, live music, trunk or treat, haunted trail, food trucks, a 50/50 raffle and more.

The event is free for spectators. The entry fee for participants in the motor show will be a minimum of $10 and a bowl of candy for the trunk or treat. Awards will be given for Best in Show, Student’s Choice, Teacher’s Choice and winners in the following class categories: pre-1900 to 1949; 1950s and 1960s; 1970s and 1980s; 1990s and 2000s; Motorcycle; 4x4 truck and Rat Rod. If the number of entries exceeds current COVID-19 guidelines for gatherings, organizers will consider splitting the event across different days yet to be determined.
