THMS sixth graders invited to ‘Reverse Field Trip’

Thomas Hunter Middle School sixth grade students are invited to visit the school on Friday, Oct. 16, to pick out a free book, get a treat, and visit teachers.

Calling the event a “Reverse Field Trip,” teacher Leslie Hudgins said there will be approximately 200 books to choose from during two sessions. Teachers will have the books available in the school’s parking lot from 10 a.m. to noon and from 3-6 p.m.

Masks are required and social distancing will be enforced. The books have been donated by the Riders for Readers Program, established and managed locally by Foster resident Eric Engler.
