As a way to pay tribute to the community’s military veterans, Thomas Hunter Middle School is inviting all veterans and active-duty military to join the students for a free Veterans Day lunch on Monday at the Mathews County school.
They are invited to eat during the school’s scheduled lunch blocks—10:45-11:10 a.m. for fifth graders; 11:15-11:40 a.m. for eighth graders; 11:56 a.m.-12:21 p.m. for sixth graders and 12:48-1:13 p.m. for seventh graders.
Those planning on attending are asked to call the school at 804-725-2434 to RSVP.
