The Thomas Hunter Middle School library will host a community book fair from Scholastic the week of Feb. 6-10 to raise funds for new books for the library.

The THMS Book Fair will be online Feb. 1-14 at www.scholastic.com/fair. If you make book purchases through the online book fair all purchases are added to the THMS total book fair sales.

There is also a free book fair app that enables parents, students and teachers to scan a book cover or barcode to find the age, grade, or reading level for a book. This information assists parents in finding the right-fit book for their child.

In addition, the app gives parents and teachers detailed information to assist in finding age-appropriate books. The app includes details including, price, summary, videos, podcasts, awards and reading levels for Accelerated Reader titles. Students and parents can create wish lists and share them. Simply print your wish list or send it to friends and family via e-mail.
