Theodora Marie Lange, age 97, of Mathews, Va., passed away on Monday, April 27, 2015.

Theodora was born April 1, 1918 in Pennsylvania to Walter and Petranella Karr. She was the widow of Frederick Lange Sr.

She was active in her church, Mathews Baptist, and was an active volunteer.

Theodora is survived by her son, Frederick Lange Jr. and his wife Becky; daughter, Mary Beckley Wroten and her husband Johnny; grandchildren, Ainslee Laura Lange, Christopher M. Lange, Eric Beckley and wife Martha and their daughter Lorena, Sarah Beckley and fiancé Ricardo, and Sophie Beckley; also by her cousin, Doloris Hunt, and her caregiver, Ginger Riley.

A visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29, 2015, from 4:30-6 p.m. at Foster-Faulkner Funeral Home in Mathews. The funeral will be held at Mathews Baptist Church, Hudgins, Va., on Thursday, April 30, 2015, at 11 a.m.
