Thelma Rose Hurst, 86, of Bavon, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 11, 2018, at her home.

She was preceded in death by her husband, A.J. Hurst. 

She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Davis (Hoopy); a granddaughter, Lana Booth (James); three great-granddaughters, Makayla, Makenzie, and Makenna Booth; a sister, Violet Hudgins (Wade); a nephew, Waynie Hudgins (Jeannie), and her beloved cat Keezie. 

A visitation was held on Sunday, Oct. 14, 2018, from 6-7:30 p.m. at Faulkner Funeral Homes, Foster-Faulkner Chapel, Mathews. A funeral service was held on Monday, Oct. 15, 2018, in the funeral home chapel at 11 a.m. Burial followed at St. Paul Annex, Susan.
