The Rivah, a women’s and children’s boutique store held its grand opening Saturday at its new location on Gloucester’s Main Street. This is the store’s second location, originally opening in Kilmarnock last October.

The store’s owner, Emily Hoar, said she had been getting asked by patrons over the past year if the store could come to various other locations across the Northern Neck and Middle Peninsula. “And we think Gloucester is a perfect fit,” she said.

Aside from offering name brands such as Simply Southern, Kendra Scott, Southern Marsh, Scout, Sheila Fajl and Pura Vida jewelry, the store also offers home good items and gifts.

Hoar said the first 75 ladies who made a purchase Saturday at the new location received a free Scout or Simply Southern reusable tote bag. ...
