The Plate Scrapers, a band born from the tradition of bluegrass jams and potlucks, will perform at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Flat Iron Crossroads in Gloucester. The Plate Scrapers has been together since 2014, releasing four studio albums, three live albums, and touring up and down the East Coast and into the Midwest. The group’s latest release, “Artifacts,” had multiple singles on the Airplay Direct bluegrass/folk charts as well as rave reviews from Bluegrass Today. The group has provided support for such bluegrass legends as The Seldom Scene, Frank Solivan and Dirty Kitchen, and Larry Keel. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $22 online, with attendee’s name on the guest list at check-in, or $25 at the door. Children under 12 admitted free.
