The Other Moving Company, located at Hayes, recently became affiliated as a commercial agent for Stevens Worldwide Van Lines.

Brian Hudgins of Gloucester Point, owner of TOMCO, said the affiliation became effective Sept. 1. The affiliation will provide TOMCO with more moving opportunities to keep their trucks full, he said.

Stevens, based out of Saginaw, Mich., has over 150 agents across the United States, and TOMCO’s customers will benefit from the extended network which will handle long distance and even some international moves, Hudgins said.
The affiliation with Stevens also will give TOMCO the capability to expand on its wide range of moving and storage services locally and across the country, Hudgins said.

TOMCO is a privately owned household goods carrier which has a fleet of 10 trucks. During the last 1½ years, the company has added three tractor-trailers to its fleet, Hudgins said.
