Bethel Elementary School language arts teacher Danielle Butler placed cards with short passages or groups of works throughout the school’s courtyard and students were challenged to read each one and identify its main idea. The Main Idea Scoot gave students a fun way to reinforce a concept while expending energy, getting outdoors and staying socially distanced.
