‘The Living Passover’ returns to LightHouse

“The Living Passover,” the Easter musical extravaganza, returns to LightHouse at Hayes, with a total of eight performances running from March 18-31. The show is being presented by LightHouse with the support of other churches across the Hampton Roads area.

“The Living Passover presents the message of Christ’s life from the many different perspectives recorded in the New Testament,” said Pastor Greg Ashley, who writes and produces the musical every year.

“The only portion that remains the same each year is the passion element of his triumphant entry, death, burial and resurrection. This year, the storyline that precedes the passion is written from the perspective of the blind man and his family as recorded in the gospel of John,” Ashley added. “It is a powerful story of the love of Christ to transform and resurrect even the most hopeless of situations.
