The lady in the kitchen

Let us introduce you to a lady who loves to cook, loves to share, and makes sure her recipes are correct. In Della Belvin’s words: “Through trial and error I have established some good recipes that I use frequently. In 2006 after having been in the work force for 30 years and retired from my Civil Service job I compiled a cookbook, ‘Home Cooking With Della Belvin,’ for my children. I thought it would be great for them to have some of my favorite recipes. And I have added to it each year and will continue doing so. I also made one for myself. I have a friend who has asked for a book but I haven’t gotten around to doing all of that copy work. It contains 180 recipes.”

This is merely one phase of Della Belvin’s enjoyment in cooking and her generosity in sharing with others.
