The English Channel, a tribute band, will perform British hits of the 1960s and 1970s beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at Flat Iron Crossroads, Gloucester. The group recreates the sounds of original recorded works by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Dusty Springfield, The Who, Herman’s Hermits, and others, “just like you remember it,” said a press release. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with the Get Cheesy food truck. Tickets are $20 online at flatironcrossroads.com. Children 10 and under are free. Shown, from left, are founders Bob and Julie Quarles, bass player Dan Lancaster, drummer Mark Lindamood, rhythm guitarist Buzzy Lawler, and lead guitarist Ben Scribner.
