Once again Thanksgiving is days away. Hopefully we turn our thoughts to giving thanks for all of the blessings we have been afforded. Each person’s list may be different but somehow the same when thinking of a roof over our head, our health and that of our family members, food in the pantry, the freedom we share, Autumn days, a quiet walk on a country road, good friends … my list could go on with no end in sight.
This Thanksgiving, my thoughts turn to my work and how thankful I am to be allowed the opportunity each day, Monday through Friday, to go to work at a place that I love! When anyone asks “what do you do?” my answer most of the time is “jack of all trades, master of none”—which is not really my job description but fits nicely with what I do.
