In May, I was voted into the 56th Virginia Regiment as a CSA infantryman.
I recently found out my family members had three ties to the Confederate Army: Co. A, 146th Va. Militia; Co. F. 58th Va. Militia, and Co. I, 1st Virginia Cavalry Regiment.
I now feel as if I am carrying on the family tradition. I feel so privileged and honored to be a part of this great heritage.
