Editor, Gazette-Journal: At 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 26, Gloucester’s non-emergency dispatch phone number was called from Nuttall’s Store/Ware Neck P.O., where I was locked out of my truck. Dispatch was very cooperative and within 30 minutes, an officer arrived. Deputy Bush quickly resolved the problem. An affable, Semper-Fi vet, he kindly refused any payment and, including Dispatch, both gave honor and credibility to Sheriff Warren’s name and his department: To Serve and Protect.
