Gloucester County Public Schools celebrated its Teachers of the Year last Thursday in the T.C. Walker Education Center Café and announced its District Teacher of the Year as Gloucester High School English teacher Susan Sharp (far left). Those honored were, from left, Sharp, Beth Coleman (GHS), Courtney Chandler (Abingdon Elementary School and Overall Elementary Teacher of the Year), Judith Green (Peasley Middle School and Overall Middle School Teacher of the Year), Cassandra Carney (Page Middle School), Lauren Epling (Botetourt Elementary School), Michele Abrahamson (Achilles Elementary School) and Nikki Blodgett (Petsworth Elementary School). Not pictured is Deborah Lawson (Bethel Elementary School).
