The Gloucester School Board made several appointments during its July 19 meeting at the T.C. Walker Education Center. 

Appointed to teaching positions for the 2016-2017 school year were Cher Gingues and Kierstin Wilson of Gloucester, Pamela Goldstein of Gloucester Point, Preston McKellar of Hayes, Jennifer Hart-Berndt of Yorktown, Tabitha Hayes of Newport News, Ashley Kellner of Hampton, Leslie Sturtz of West Point, Samuel Venable of Chesapeake, Douglas Campbell of Mechanicsville, and Bernadette Tipton of Chester.

Patrice Stokes of Spotsylvania was appointed as a school counselor at Gloucester High School and Khyre Jones of Hayes was appointed to a support services position.
