Teachers appointed at Gloucester schools

The Gloucester County School Board made several personnel appointments during its April 12 meeting.

The board appointed Celita Morgan of Gloucester as the security officer at Page Middle School, effective April 11, and appointed Kristie Lester of Gloucester to a support services position, effective April 13. 

Appointed to teaching positions for the 2016-2017 school year were Karen Salmon of Gloucester, Natalie Shepherd of Swansboro, N.C., Garrett Gregory of Greensboro, N.C., and Carah Bradford of Sinclairville, N.Y. Cathryn Redford of Dumfries, was appointed as a part-time speech pathologist. 

In position changes for the 2016-2017 school year, Peasley Middle School teacher Sabrina Bellino will be transferred to Page Middle School and Peasley teacher Anjanette O’Beirne will be transferred to Bethel Elementary.

Resignations were accepted from Page math teacher Kenneth Schulz Jr., effective June 16, and support services employee Thomasina Wyatt, effective April 28.
