Taylor’s Do it Center has opened its newest location in the Gloucester Point Shopping Center. The Gloucester location is the 12th under the Taylor’s Do it Center banner, which has been a staple of the Hampton Roads area for generations.

President and CEO of Taylor’s Do it Center Joe Taylor said Gloucester had been on their radar for some time before finally pulling the trigger on the new store. The new location held a soft opening on Dec. 3. A grand opening is scheduled for March 5.

Despite the growing number of locations, Taylor’s Do it Center is a small, family-run business. Though small, Taylor’s Do it Center carries well-known brands such as STIHL, Traeger Grills, Weber and Scotts.

Taylor said the Do it Center’s outdoor living and lawn-and-garden services are some of its strongest areas or expertise. However, the hardware store caters to all hardware needs. This includes plumbing, electrical, automotive and construction.
