Gloucester candidates opposed in the Nov. 7 General Election faced off for a second time Monday night discussing a wide range of issues during a forum that was hosted by the Gloucester Citizens for Accountable Government at the Lighthouse Worship Center, Ordinary. Main topics that were addressed were taxes, the school system and economic development initiatives in the county.
Current board of supervisors’ members John Meyer Jr. (at-large) and Phillip Bazzani (York district) took the time to reflect on the improvements they have made on the state of the county during their first term in office. Meanwhile, Kevin Farmer, who is opposing Bazzani, expressed that he is “concerned with the transparency of the current board.”
