Tax Aide

Volunteers with the AARP Foundation’s Tax Aide program have been steadily helping dozens of taxpayers for the past month and will continue to do so at various locations throughout Gloucester and Mathews through April 14. Spokesperson George Levis said it is better for taxpayers to come in the afternoon, as volunteers are less busy than in the mornings. Taxpayers should bring with them their Social Security cards and a photo ID, he said. Here, Tax Aide volunteer Godwin Jones assists Gloucester resident Ruth J.
