Taters to headline Groovin’ in the Park

The Taters will be headlining the Sunday, June 25 Groovin’ in the Park concert at Deltaville Maritime Museum and Holly Point Nature Park, 287 Jackson Creek Road, Deltaville. Todd Murray, playing as “Sincerely, Iris,” will open the concert at 5 p.m. with his “road trip” music.

The Taters present an eclectic mix of roots rock, power pop, country, and Americana that’s “a curious mix of Mavericks, Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison, and the Beatles,” said a press release.

Todd Murray spends a lot of time on the road, playing acoustic shows all over the country. His repertoire includes music from the Beatles all the way to the White Stripes. His latest album, “Trouble,” is “a sort of traveling vintage Americana,” said the release.

The outdoor waterfront concert will be held rain or shine. Attendees are invited to bring their own lawn chair, cooler and picnic food. Food and drink will be available for purchase, as well.
