William L. “Bill” Lawrence will speak at 6 p.m. Friday at Buck’s Store Museum in Gloucester on the history of the county’s old stores. He will show slides and discuss histories of these stores, drawing on his material from his book, “Old Stores of Gloucester County, Va.”
His appearance is one of the Fourth Friday series which is put on the by the Guinea Heritage Association, which owns and is restoring the C.B. Rowe store, “Buck’s Store,” as a museum at Bena.
