Tada Artist’s Boutique at Gloucester Point has expanded its inventory and class offerings and changed its name.

Owner Tammy Bacot said she now trades as Tada Artist’s Boutique & Bead Store. The new name showcases how Bacot has filled a section of her shop, located at the entrance to York River Yacht Haven marina at Gloucester Point, with all types of beads and beading accessories.

Bacot sells many types of gemstones (amethyst, jade, quartz and many others), pearls and other beads that can be made into jewelry, used for craft projects, and for similar purposes.

Also, Bacot has expanded the number and types of classes she offers at the shop. She is assisted by several clerks on a part-time basis and also brings in guest instructors for classes including lapidary, silversmithing and lampwork (which employs a melted glass technique).
