Tabb shuts out GHS in soccer, 3-0

The Gloucester High School varsity boys’ soccer team played the Group AA Tabb Tigers at Tabb last Thursday and came up short, 3-0. The match up did not count in conference standings, but Gloucester coach Craig Raines advised his players it was still a game “and we have to play like we want to win.”

The Dukes would do just the opposite. After a good start, Gloucester struggled to find the net while the Tabb Tigers hit their mark and held a 1-0 advantage at the break.

After another promising opening to the half, the Dukes’ multiple shots on goal still failed to find the net. While Gloucester struggled, Tabb added two more goals to the board and the Dukes were sent home with a 3-0 loss. ...
