Jeffrey M. Szyperski, who serves as chairman, president and CEO of Chesapeake Financial Shares Inc. and Chesapeake Bank and chairman of Chesapeake Wealth Management, added yet another title to his resume this week: chairman of the American Bankers Association.

“The heart of banking lies in the service we provide to our customers and communities each day,” said Szyperski, who leads the bank that is headquartered in Kilmarnock, with branches in Gloucester and Mathews.
