Synthetic narcotics raid targets two Gloucester stores

An investigation by the Tri-Rivers Drug Task Force into the alleged local sale of synthetic narcotics such as spice and bath salts has led to the execution of two search warrants and the arrest of 12 people Thursday, according to Gloucester Sheriff Darrell Warren.
Warren said a 13th suspect was also being sought in connection with the investigation. The names of the people arrested and the charges against them were not released. Warren said the dozen persons arrested were transported to the Virginia Peninsula Regional Jail in Williamsburg to await court appearances.
Warren said the search warrants were executed at Hazy Dayz located at 3536 George Washington Memorial Highway in Hayes and at A Lil Bit of This N That located at 7558 John Clayton Memorial Highway in Gloucester.
