Sydnor Frederick DeGroat Jr. (affectionately known as Porky), 80 years old, of Gloucester, born April 2, 1940 in Ringwood, New Jersey, entered into eternal rest on April 10, 2020.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Sydnor and Lahoma DeGroat.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 53 years, Brenda DeGroat; his children, Sydnor III, Darryl, Lisa, Barbara, Carl, John, Lachelle; a host of grand- and great-grandchildren. 

He retired after 40 years from Duramic Products, New Jersey, as a machinist. He will be sorrowfully missed.
