Sweetheart Brunch on Feb. 10 to benefit MRA

The Mobjack Rowing Association will host a benefit Sweetheart Brunch from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 10, at the Community Building at Williams Wharf.

Commemorative tickets for the Valentine’s Day weekend event are $25 each and limited to 60. Available only through advance sales, they may be purchased (cash or check to MRA) and picked up at the Bay School Community Arts Center on Main Street in Mathews Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. until they are sold out.

The French-inspired Sweetheart Brunch, prepared by Indian Creek Executive Chef and Mobjack and MHS alumnus Jonathan Lewis, with MRA wait staff, will include assorted gourmet quiches, salad, French bread with cheeses and paté, and a chocolate fountain with fresh fruit.

There will be complimentary Mobjack Bay Coffee, juices and sparkling water; and a cash Mimosa and Wine Bar for those over 21. An accompanying silent auction will feature a selection of Valentine’s Day gifts to choose from.

Proceeds will benefit the Mobjack Rowing Association. For more information about this or other Mobjack events, activities and learn-to-row opportunities, visit www.mobjackrowing.org.
