Susan Berry Ronk, 72, of Hayes, passed away on August 17, 2026 at her home.

Susan was born on March 4, 1954 in Newport News, Virginia, and lived her entire life in Gloucester County. She worked as an accountant at Eastern State Hospital before retiring from the Commonwealth of Virginia in 2000. Susan loved fishing and spending time at the beach. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert F. Berry Sr. and Bessie Berry of Bena, and her brothers, David Berry and Robert “Bobby” F. Berry Jr.

Susan is survived by her daughter, Angela Rainey and son-in-law Scott Rainey; her grandchildren, Kaitlen and Kimber, and her great-grandchildren, Derrick and Easton, with another great-granddaughter, Adalynn, due to arrive in October. A gathering to celebrate her life will be held at a later date.
