The family and friends of Della Brooks gathered Sunday afternoon in the parking lot of the Abingdon Ruritan Club in Bena for a surprise drive-thru birthday parade. When she arrived, she was handed flowers and the parade commenced. Pictured below is Brooks and above are her family members and friends tooting their horns and passing along birthday wishes. Brooks turned 75 on Valentine’s Day.
