Supporting Habitat for Humanity

Gloucester County’s Habitat for Humanity was presented with a $1,000 check by Abingdon Ruritan Club vice president Mary Lou Shepherd (center) on July 14. Accepting the check were Mike Davis and Teresa Dalton. Davis, president of the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors, is also a past president of the Abingdon Ruritans. Dalton is executive director of the nonprofit organization that helps families build and improve places to call home. The three are shown at the Habitat ReStore, which is located on Route 17 at Hayes.
