Supporting Bread for Life

Garden Club of Gloucester treasurer Margaret Singleton, at left, looks on as first vice president Durfee Betts, right, gives a check for $1,285 to Monique Raposa, executive director of the Bread for Life Community Food Pantry. Garden Club members decided to use the money they would have spent on their Christmas luncheon this year, which was canceled due to COVID-19, to instead donate to the food pantry.
