Supporting a family in need

Martha Soles, owner of The Silver Box on Gloucester’s Main Street, is shown with canned food items the store collected as a fundraiser for 3-year-old Connor Snow, who underwent kidney transplant surgery this week. The store collected 352 cans, with The Silver Box donating $2 per can to go to help with expenses. All the canned food was subsequently donated to the Bread for Life Food Pantry. The Snow family resides in Gloucester where they attend Petsworth Baptist Church; Connor’s father donated a kidney to his son.
