Supervisors to hold hearing Tuesday on Court House plan

The public will have an opportunity to weigh in on a plan Tuesday that will help guide the county in decision making for future physical and economic growth in and around the Court House area.

The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing at 8 p.m. in the colonial courthouse on the Gloucester Court House Village Sub-Area Plan. The plan includes existing conditions data, as well as goals and land use recommendations based on the three major concepts: connectivity, preservation and economic vitality.

If adopted, the plan, which has been a collaborative effort between county staff and the Main Street Preservation Trust, will be an addendum to Gloucester’s Comprehensive Plan.
