Supervisors to consider revisions to comp plan

Gloucester residents will have an opportunity to comment on the future of the county Tuesday as a public hearing is planned on proposed revisions and updates to the county’s comprehensive plan.

The hearing will begin at 7:30 p.m. during the Gloucester County Board of Supervisors’ regular meeting in the colonial courthouse.

The revisions to the plan have been made in conjunction with previous public meetings, surveys and other events used to gather public opinion regarding the future vision for Gloucester County. According to the public hearing notice on the matter, the plan intends to guide future development within the county in a manner that “enhances, encourages and promotes community livability, prosperity and pride in ‘the land of the life worth living.’”
