The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors has five public hearings planned for its meeting Tuesday night in the colonial courthouse. The regular meeting will begin at 7 and public hearings are scheduled to start at 8 o’clock.
Public hearings include amendments made by a subcommittee of the board to proposed revisions on Gloucester’s sign ordinance.
Another public hearing will amend county code to allow small wind energy facilities to be accommodated in the county and allow the facilities to be placed throughout most of Gloucester.
According to a county notice, the proposed change to the zoning ordinance will provide definitions for wind energy facilities; small, large and utility-scale and allow the use of small energy facilities by-right in several zoning districts. The proposed amendments will allow the use as an accessory structure.
